As part of their world tour, Wardruna will perform at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre.
On March 25, 2025 the Nordic folk band Wardruna will be coming to Dublin to play a show at 3Olympia Theatre.
After they released their single ‘Hertan’ on April 5, 2024 the band announced their extensive world tour that will start in October 2024 and run through May 2025. Wardruna will be playing at venues across Europe, the UK, Norway and more.
Frontman and lead vocalist, Einar Selvik says, “It is always a special feeling to plan and announce a new tour. This time, perhaps more so than usual due to the fact that we are visiting quite a few parts of the world where we have not yet performed with Wardruna. We greatly look forward to revisit familiar faces and places with our songs, as well as the chance to make new bonds in new lands.”
The group just ended a 2023 tour for their album Kvitravn with a show on the autumn equinox on September 21, 2023. Wardruna performed at Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Acropolis, Athens.
The Acropolis show followed many successful gigs across the United States, Norway, Iceland and the UK. In 2022, Wardruna headlined at Wacken Open Air in Germany and Hellfast Open Air in France festivals.
The group formed in 2009, created by Selvik with Lindy-Fay Hella and former member Gaahl. For years they performed acoustic concerts and lectures performing tracks that were made for the TV-show Vikings.

Before the release of ‘Hertan’, the group released a new version of ‘Voluspá’ (live with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra) which was released in June 2023.
Tickets for Wardruna's Dublin show will start at €60 and will go on sale Friday, April 12 at 9 a.m. You can find tickets here.
