Early into Day Two of All Together Now's first year, some hungover heads - no doubt from all night partying at the Arcadia Spectacular or The Black Madonna - were eased into consciousness by young Irish musician/producer Wastefellow in the Road to Nowhere stage.
Playing material from upcoming record Post Human Potential, the singer managed to take glitchy, squelchy trap/house beats and wrangle out of them strange dreamy melodies and catchy dance hooks.
It helps too the singer has a gorgeous high-pitched voice, not too dissimilar from Radiohead's Thom Yorke - whose divisive record The King of Limbs feels like somewhat of an influence.

Previously released tracks like 'Awakenme' and 'Enfold You' - particular the latter with it's oddly enchanting vibe (featuring lyrics like "I can not explain this hole that I'm in / we sit in your bed and stare into space") feel like a signifier of great things to come. Meanwhile, the new tunes Wastefellow played have Hot Press excited for his upcoming release.
