The band performed a cover of the tune, paying tribute to the city's musical history and keeping with the spirit of music and healing after last month's attack.
Arcade Fire wound down their Castlefield Bowl gig in Manchester last night with an emotional cover of 'Love Will Tear Us Apart.'
Win Butler reportedly thanked the crowd earlier in the show for "not being scared" to come out, calling them a "fucking inspiration to the rest of the world." The Canadian group's gig came just a month after the bombing at Ariana Grande's concert in the city.

The band continued to play songs from their upcoming album Everything Now including 'Creature Comfort' and 'Signs Of Life, as they did during their set at Malahide Castle in Dublin last month.
Arcade Fire continue to Luxembourg tomorrow night in the next stop on their Infinite Content tour.
