The Grammy Award-winning musician is joined by a selection of very special guests for his debut of 'Tarantula' on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Beck appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday night to perform 'Tarantula', the track he contributed to the album, Music Inspired by the Film Roma. In his first live performance of the song, Beck was joined onstage not only by Gustavo Dudamel & the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, but a star-studded selection of backing singers, including Feist, Bat for Lashes, Alex Lilly, and The Bird and the Bee's Inara George.
'Tarantula' was originally recorded by reggae-inspired new wave group Colourbox in 1982. Beck's cover on the Music Inspired by the Film Roma album, which swaps the original synth-heavy sound for a haunting orchestral arrangement, also features vocals from Feist and Alex Lilly.
Beck was just one of several artists enlisted by director Alfonso Cuarón to appear on his Academy Award-nominated film Roma's companion album. Music Inspired by the Film Roma also features contributions from Patti Smith, T-Bone Burnett, Billie Eilish, Laura Marling, and DJ Shadow, among others.
