It's the group's third teaser of songs from their forthcoming album Cavalcade
Black Midi have released a new visual for 'Chondromalacia Patella' featuring Google Earth, 3D retro video game aesthetics, claymation figures and UFOs in a psychedelic new video.
The Experimental rock trio play a flowing jazzy number before ripping into a brain-melting guitar solo at the end of the piece, as the visuals start to change faster and faster with the song.
Vilhjálmur Yngvi Hjálmarsson directs its video, with the track apparently written about the time spent recovering from a medical injury.
The song will feature on their upcoming new album Cavalcade on the iconic UK record label Rough Trade, recorded here in Ireland at Hellfire Studios in the Dublin Mountains.
It was also produced by John ‘Spud’ Murphy, an Irish musician, producer and owner of Dublin's Guerrilla Sounds Recording Studio. He is also known for his work with the band Percolater.
The group complimented his production on the record. saying that "It worked really well with John,"

Vocalist and guitarist Geordie Greep said that his work helped them in their goal of making an album with a "Natural, open sound combined with fourth wall breaks – for lack of a better expression".
This new video is a follow up to their last single, 'Slow', which will also be on the trio's album out on May 21.
They said the latter song was about a "Story of a young and idealistic revolutionary dreaming of a better world who ends up being shot in the national stadium after a coup d’état."
Black Midi has also announced a show at Vicar St on November 9 of this year, with tickets on sale now from ticketmaster.ie/.
