Following on from their 2013 success with their cover of Avicii's 'Wake Me Up', Colaiste Lurgan have developed their very own version of another chart-topping hit.
What better advertisement is there for sending your teenager to spend three weeks in the Gaeltacht than Colaiste Lurgan displaying their musical prowess yet again? Having covered hits like Hozier's 'Take Me To Church' and Mumford and Son's 'I Will Wait' as gaeilge in recent years, their version of summer anthem, 'Cheerleader' has already recieved over 100,000 Youtube views in the last 48 hours.
Set on a West of Ireland beach and on much less a budget than OMI, the Colaiste Lurgan students show off their versatile vocals, Irish dancing and tin-whistle abilities, all the while being soaked in colour powder- no easy feat!
