As part of our nightly series celebrating the 25th anniversary of Oasis' classic album, Crome Yellow performs 'She's Electric'.
Our celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Oasis' era-defining album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? continue – with a special performance from Crome Yellow, covering 'She's Electric'.
"It was written around the time of Definitely Maybe – but it got bunked for 'Digsy's Dinner'," Noel Gallagher said of 'She's Electric', during his recent 25th anniversary track-by-track of (What's The Story) Morning Glory. "It's got great words. I don't know how I came up with that shit. It's kind of like 'The Importance Of Being Idle', in it's '60s-ness, and it's got a definite story. It's very Britpop. Listening to Liam hit those high notes, I was like, 'Wow! Fuck!'"
Since their formation in 2014, Waterford's Crome Yellow have built up a reputation for their unique, psychedelic-flavoured alt-rock sound. Last year, the four-piece released their first full-length project, See Why.
