A beautifully shot, nostalgic black and white clip, the new video for Darling's 'Sail Away' has been unveiled this week. The man behind it all is none other than Scott Altman, who was joint victor in the recent Shoot To Thrill competition to create a Hot Press cinema ad.

The London-based director started out on large-scale film and television FX at Ardmore Studios at the age of 17 and has worked for MTV International and UK on a number of Europe Music Awards, as well as Nickelodeon. Working independently since 2012, last year he worked with renowned British fashion photographer Nick Knight on the VFX for Kanye West’s ‘BLKKK SKKKN HEAD’ music video. He is currently directing shoots for a number of artists and major record labels.

As for Darling, the Irish duo have been tipped in many quarters for big things in 2014. 'Sail Away' is the second track to be taken from their self-titled debut EP. They play their biggest headline show to date in Whelan's on May 23.
