Ebben Phlö have shared the music video for their second single 'Reviler.'
The video is the first for the Cork-based duo of James Moone and Kevin Ring. It was directed and produced by Michael Fitzpatrick, professionally known as Feeetzy, and filmed in Portugal.
"On first listen I had seen it in my mind's eye as something fast paced with like a car chase or similar," said Fitzpatrick about the track. "I told Kev at the time that I'd bring a camera to Lisbon later that year but it wasn't until I was sitting next to him at dinner that I found out the actual emotion behind the song."
"He told me it dealt with feelings of isolation and loneliness which is obvious when you actually listen to the lyrics," he continued. "Kev's vision of the music video was to follow the experience of someone who arrives at an afterparty, knowing nobody and failing to make friends because of his intoxication."
Fitzpatrick, Moone and Ring filmed the video that night after dinner.

"I'm not ashamed to say that I've experienced exactly this feeling of social anxiety and inability to properly communicate at an afterparty," Fitzpatrick added. "It's just a part of your 20s. I wanted everyone participating in the video to oversell their contempt for our protagonist, further fueling this impression of psycho-active drug use."
