Sit back and enjoy the day with his new track, built for the Summer.
Dublin singer-songwriter Eoin Glackin has released a sepia-filtered video for his new single, 'Dublin in the Sun', evoking fond memories of sunny days in the past in the capital.
Featuring the likes of the Phoenix Park deer and the Molly Malone statue, amongst other famous aspects of the fair city, Eoin sings about everyone enjoying the sun's gaze.
"I was sitting out the back of the house having a few beers," Eoin recounts. "I was yearning to head into the city centre and just ramble, stop into a few favourite bars and soak up the atmosphere. I felt nostalgic for those kinds of days and started writing this song as I sat there."
"Hopefully we can start making up for lost time soon!”
The track is a follow-up to his last single 'How Quick The World Can Change', another folk jam released earlier this year.

Eoin also played Hot Press' Y&E series in 2020, with our writer Kate Brayden praising his set full of "hope for the future as well as poignant reflections on the current state of Ireland.
"With Irish storytelling firmly lodged in his DNA, the singer-songwriter's influences from decades past are on show within his songs," she enthused.
