'Falling For You' is the fourth of six singles Fia Moon has dropped for her debut mixtape - set to be distributed early this year.
Rising Irish alt-pop artist Fia Moon has shared a gorgeously simple performance of her brand new single, 'Falling For You'.
With sound, lighting and editing by Cian Finlay and guitar accompaniment from Sam Killeen; the rendition shows off Fia's strength in controlling her voice.
The ballad traces memories of a love lost, and features her usual lyrical vulnerability and clear vocals over a simple backing guitar melody.
The single follows up from previous tracks ‘Let This Go’, ‘better days’ and ‘XX', and continues on her journey towards empowerment and self-acceptance.
The break-up ballad speaks to a past connection, nostalgically retracing the steps taken before she fell for the person in question before they left.
"Dry eyes, it'll be all right / pack your bags and hold on tight / take a trip to the other side / might be far but I don't mind," she sings. "Even though we're worlds apart, looking up at the same stars / and I feel you here with me / looking through our memories."
