"I want to be able to speak the truth as loud as I had to speak the lie for so long."
The first trailer for Leaving Neverland, the controversial documentary which details sexual abuse allegations against iconic pop singer Michael Jackson, has been released.
Leaving Neverland made waves when it premiered at Sundance Film Festival, where it was met by intense reactions from the audience and protests by diehard fans of Michael Jackson. The festival even went to such lengths as having health care professionals at the screening in case the viewers needed it.
The 4-hour documentary features disturbing and detailed allegations from Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who were children at the time of the alleged sexual abuse. Among the allegations are that Jackson staged a mock wedding with Safechuck when has was 9 and also that Jackson would run drills with him so they could avoid being caught in the act.
