Oxford band Foals posted a teaser clip of the 'Wake Me Up' video on TikTok last weekend (October 29).
Foals perform on a set that features palm trees, rocks and a printed rainforest backdrop in the video for their brand new single 'Wake Me Up'.
Infusing elements of funk and disco into the song, Foals are ready to heighten the influence of synths alongside the indie-rock guitar-driven anthems known for setting the place alight during their gigs.
It comes after Yannis Philippakis and co. confirmed details of their comeback single on October 29 and shared a clip of the track's visuals on TikTok.
Foals have been at work on the follow-up to their 2019 sister albums Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost: Part One and Part Two.
‘Wake Me Up’ marks the group’s first new material since the departure of keyboardist Edwin Congreave last month. In a statement at the time, the musician told fans he’d “heard the new album – it is of course brilliant”.

Foals recently debuted a new track titled ‘Novo’ during their first live show in 18 months.
The veteran indie-rock band are due to hit the road next April, with Yannis Philippakis confirming to Hot Press this week that the trio will stop off in Dublin once details of their 2022 album are revealed.
Recalling memories of Electric Picnic slots and dates at the Olympia Theatre, the frontman had fond recollections of his time touring the Emerald Isle.
“I've got great memories of playing Ireland. We will be coming there as well, they just haven't quite organised it yet. It's just difficult for the touring industry to get back to speed fully with the lockdowns. One of my favourite memories of playing Ireland was when we did two nights at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin, and we had played much smaller shows up until then," Philippakis told Hot Press over Zoom, smiling.
"It's such a classy venue, and I remember being like, ‘What are we doing here?’. Those two nights were awesome. We were smoking out the window or something backstage, but there were all these kids at the bottom that were just hanging out after the show. They enjoyed themselves so much and just kept cheering. It was just one of the warmest receptions we'd had up until that point. The other show that's always killer for us out there is Electric Picnic. It's one of my favourite festivals to play anywhere. I like that it comes at the end. You do your whole summer festival season and then boom, one last explosion. The crowds all over Ireland are killer for us. We'll be coming back soon, and we're excited.”
