Fontaines D.C. return with video for new single 'Starburster'

The highly anticipated video is premiering on YouTube this evening.

After teasing new music this week, Fontaines D.C. have finally returned with a brand new single 'Starburster' – as well as an accompanying music video.

The track is also being played this evening as BBC Radio 1's Hottest Record.

The Grammy-nominated outfit – who were voted Best Live Act in the recent Hot Press Readers' Poll – released their latest album, Skinty Fia, in 2022. They've since joined forces with Massive Attack and Young Fathers to announce an exclusive, limited edition vinyl record, ceasefire, in support of Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders' emergency operations in Gaza and the West Bank – set to be released on June 1.

2023 saw Fontaines D.C. contribute a cover of ''Cello Song' to the star-studded Nick Drake tribute album, The Endless Coloured Ways, while frontman Grian Chatten released his debut solo album, Chaos For The Fly.
