Ahead of the release of his new album, All That Was East Is West Of Me Now, Glen Hansard performed his latest single from the project, 'There's No Mountain', on last night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!
This week marked the return of the popular American late-night talk show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, following the end of the Writers Guild of America strike.
A celebration of perseverance, resilience and hope, 'There's No Mountain' was released last month, alongside a powerful accompanying music video, directed by Myles O'Reilly.
All That Was East Is West Of Me Now has been described as "equal parts noisy and meditative as well as sprawling and hypnotic" – and was produced by David Odlum, at his home studio on the outskirts of Dublin.
For the majority of the record, the Dublin singer-songwriter was joined in the studio by fellow Frames Joe Doyle, Graham Hopkins, Ruth O’Mahony Brady, Rob Bochnik and honorary Frame Earl Harvin. It also features strings from Gareth Quinn Redmond, Kate Ellis, Paula Hughes, Katie O’Connor and Una O’Kane.

All That Was East Is West Of Me Now is out on October 20.
