Take a look at the new video from the acclaimed Irish post-rock band below.
Ahead of the release of their highly anticipated 10th studio album, Ghost Tapes #10, next month, God Is An Astronaut have shared the music video for their powerful new single 'Fade'.
Widely celebrated as one of world's most iconic experimental instrumental groups, God Is An Astronaut was founded by twin brothers Niels and Torsten Kinsella back in 2002. Ghost Tapes #10 rekindles the band’s classic line-up – with Jamie Dean on piano and guitar duties once again. Rather than pick up where the quartet left off with 2018's Epitaph, the new project takes a radically different approach, with a new focus on movement and intensity – and is undoubtedly the most ferocious God Is An Astronaut album to date.
The album’s incredibly detailed artwork plays into the sense of foreboding and the uncertainty of the times we live in – and was created by David Rooney, celebrated for his work with band in the past, as well as his fortnightly editorial illustrations in Hot Press for over 30 years.
Ghost Tapes #10 is out on February 12, via Napalm Records.
