A Monster Calls is the story of young Conor (played by newcomer Lewis MacDougall) who seeks escapism from the pain that pervades his normal life - his mom (Felicity Jones) is terminally ill whilst he is the object of bullies in school.
Where does he find release? In a Liam Neeson incarnated tress, that's where! A Monster Calls is brought to all its visionary glory thanks to Juan Antonio Bayona who will have a tough time living up to expectations following the 2012's heart-wrecnhing The Impossible.
However, the trailer alone shows that Bayona is no one-trick pony.

A Monster Calls is scheduled for release in October 2016.
