IDLES have released their unnerving new video for 'When The Lights Come On', the third single from their latest album.
The latest release from the Bristol rocker’s fourth album CRAWLER, out since last month, 'When The Lights Come On' is written by frontman Joe Talbot and is directed and edited by guitarist Lee Kiernan.
Starring drummer George Garratt of fellow Bristol band Heavy Lungs, the unsettling black and white video features him riding a bicycle at night while wearing spiked body armour and sunglasses, interspersed with footage of him dancing topless and falling over in slow motion. Watch the video below.
IDLES recently announced they are rescheduling their Irish tour dates for 2022, due to recent changes in Covid restrictions here. Their trio of dates at Vicar St in January have now been cancelled, and instead they will play a replacement show on May 29th, 2022 at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. According to the band: "Ticketmaster will contact ticket holders for the Vicar Street concerts to issue a refund and offer a pre-sale link to the new date on May 29th."
