A new film has been released about the women's suffragette movement, and the struggles of women's right to vote in Britain.
The movie showcases the pioneers of early feminist activism. The story will focus on the oppressive state, attempting to subvert women, and label them as beings that belong in the private sphere.
The film is directed by Abi Morgan, and stars Meryl Streep, Anne-Marie Duff, grace Stottor, Geoff Bell and Carey Mulligan.
