The award-winning Scandinavian television series, The Bridge, returns to BBC this Saturday at 9PM.
The third instalment of the program will continue following the death of one of its main characters. There has been a grand amount of controversy as to whether The Bridge will be the same considering one of the of the main characters has been eliminated from the cast.
Initially, creators of the series had planned that Kim Bodnia's character return to the show, but Bodnia decided to forfeit her involvement considering that she was unhappy with the fate of her character.
In the new season, Saga Noren's core character Sofia Helin is assigned a new Danish colleague to help her solve the murder of a gender rights campaigner whose body was discovered in Sweden.
