It's not the first time that Bryan Cranston has dabbed his hands in dirty dealings with drug crime lords.
However, as opposed to being one of them this time Bryan Cranston is fighting against the drug trafficking trade in The Infiltrator.
Based on the true story of the biggest operation against drug lord Pablo Escobar in 1986, Federal agent Robery Mazur (Cranston) poised as the slick rich money-laundering business man Bob Musella. Mazur had to build an alternative life around him, exude the confidence and arrogance to trick Escobar's mobsters where the slightest hiccup could be rendered fatal.
The Infiltrator looks set to be one of the biggest thrillers this year, in the same calibre as 2012's Argo. Brad Furman directs this one with Diane Kruger, Benjamin Bratt and Amy Ryan filling out the cast.
The Infiltrator is set to arrive in July.
