Speaking on the new single Jah1 says that 'Cold Old Dublin' is about both 'chasing your dreams and struggling' in Dublin.
'Cold Old Dublin Streets' is a genre defying new track from a trio of Dublin artists: rapper Jah1, hip hop artists Subrhyme and genre bender Bernard-M.
There's a palpable soul element with the three Dublin artist's vocal harmonies in the new single which features rap solos and catchy guitar riffs.
Speaking of the new track Jah1 has said: "'Cold Old Dublin Streets' to me is such a vibe. We went to playground HQ a whole gang of us on a cold rainy night and basically put how we were feeling there and then into a song".
Continuing the rapper says: "The song goes into depth with life in Dublin chasing your dreams and struggling all in one".
"In my eyes it paints a beautiful pictures of the harsh realities we live up today" the Monkstown Farm rapper concludes.

Also featuring on the track is Inchicore's Subrhyme who makes up part of the rap collective Demlot.
Barnard-M will be familiar to Hot Press instagram followers as an alum of the Hot Press Y & E Series, where we platform a lineup of young and emerging Irish artists, who take over the Hot Press Instagram for an evening and perform intimate live performances.
Together the trio may have disparate styles, but there's clearly one unifying thread- a love for the city that reared them.
'Cold Old Dublin' is a love letter to the city but also an unflinching acknowledgement of the long neglected social issues in the capital.
The accompanying music video is filmed in Playground Studio and shows the improvisational nature of the track as the artists jam together.
