Groban on Kanye : “At most his tweets are 140 characters, but the depth of his passion is immeasurable”
Most of you will know Josh Groban as ‘that American guy with the pipes who sang ‘You Raise Me Up’ better than Westlife’ but those lucky enough to have seen his appearance on Nevermind The Buzzcocks will know of the wit and humour that lies behind the mild mannered exterior. He’s good for a laugh, essentially.
So it proves today, as he adds Kanye West to his musical repertoire. He doesn’t opt for a little ‘All Falls Down’ or ‘Homecoming’, however. Instead he tackles Kanye’s tweets. It all went down on US late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live and is all very tongue-in-cheek. It’s also essential viewing.
Watch the Grammy and Oscar-nominated singer tackle such immortal lines as: “Can we please toast to the mutha****** douchebags tonight/ Do you know where to find marble conference tables? I'm looking to have a conference...not until I get the table though.”

Then pray he actually goes ahead and records a full album.
