As a part of the Summer of Music programme, Kíla performed 'Búdán' at Judge Roy Beans, supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
Following their acclaimed live show at Judge Roy Beans last month, we're thrilled to present Kíla performance of 'Búdán' – recorded live at the beloved venue in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
Judge Roy Beans isn't just an award-winning steakhouse and bar – it's also an acclaimed music venue, and has provided a space for artists to rehearse and record since 2011.
So, it’s no surprise that it remains at the heart of music as we gradually emerge from lockdown restrictions. Despite the challenges of the past year-and-a-half, the venue kept the spirit of live music alive, with their Summer of Music 2021 programme – which featured recorded performances from legendary artists Donal Lunny & Paddy Glackin, Jerry Fish, Megan O'Neill and more.
They also welcomed live audiences back inside their spectacular Upstairs venue – with gigs featuring The Pale, The Frank & Walters, and, of course, Kíla.

Kíla have played in over 35 countries and at renowned festivals around the world. In 2016, Kíla closed the Cambridge Folk Festival, with Imelda May joining them onstage.
The band have performed at many prestigious ceremonies and events, including the Special Olympics, and Garden Parties hosted by President Michael D. Higgins.
