The benefit also featured performances from Angel Olsen, Flight of the Concords' Bret McKenzie and more.
On December 5th, the annual Seattle Children's Benefit Concert took place in America. The show, called SMooCH, featured performances from a host of musicians and special guests, including a collaboration between Kim Gordon, J Mascis, and Fred Armisen.
They performed a song that seems to be called 'Abstract Blues'. The full show featured music from Benjamin Gibbard, Angel Olsen, Jason Isbell, Flight of the Conchords’ Bret McKenzie, Clipping, and more.
Gordon’s new album No Home Record came out last year. The album received an 8/10 review from Ed Power, who called it 'gently feral' and praised Gordon for "honouring her past while refusing to be defined by it."
