Following the world premiere of 'Better Way To Live' – KNEECAP's eagerly anticipated new single – on BBC Radio 6 Music this evening, the official music video for the track has finally been released.
It's the Irish hip-hop group's first new single since signing to Heavenly Recordings in September. Their debut album is expected to be released through the lauded London-based independent record label next year.
'Better Way To Live' features guest appearances from Fontaines D.C.'s Grian Chatten, as well as the band's drummer, Tom Coll. The accompanying video was directed by Peadar Ó Goill, who was also behind Lankum's video for 'Go Dig My Grave', released earlier this year.
KNEECAP's new video stars Simone Kirby, known for her appearances in Jimmy's Hall, Hidden Assets and His Dark Materials. She's also been listed as part of the cast of KNEECAP's upcoming feature film, alongside Michael Fassbender. Back in May, Kneecap – helmed by writer/director Rich Peppiatt – was featured as part of the prestigious Great8 showcase, for the Cannes Film Market.

This week also saw KNEECAP reiterate their support for Palestine, as the death toll in Gaza continues to soar.
"Ireland has supported Palestine for a long time and will continue to do so," they wrote online. "The people of the north of Ireland know how it feels when occupied by an unwanted army. Everyone deserves an opportunity for peace, to build communities, culture and families , the same way our generation got that chance in the North... Saoirse don Phalaistín."
