'Industry Baby' is the third single from Lil Nas X this year, taken from his forthcoming album 'Montero'.
Lil Nas X has released the video for his much-teased new single 'Industry Baby' today.
Produced by Kanye West and Take A Daytrip, the single featuring Jack Harlow comes with a colourful music video which sees the rapper in prison, following on from a skit released earlier this week that parodied his Nike lawsuit.
The video sees Lil Nas X sentenced to five years at Montero State Prison, where three months later we see him rocking a pink jumpsuit, lifting weights and dancing naked in the showers.
With the aid of a rock hammer slipped by fellow inmate Harlow, he escapes his cell, knocks out a prison guard (a cameo from Colton Haynes, who's a little distracted watching the video for ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)') and organises a mass breakout.

In addition to the release of the single and video, Lil Nas X has created the Bail X Fund in conjunction with The Bail Project, as part of a campaign to end cash bail.
In a statement the rapper said: "Music is the way I fight for liberation. It’s my act of resistance. But I also know that true freedom requires real change in how the criminal justice system works. Starting with cash bail."
"This isn’t just theoretical for me. It’s personal. I know the pain that incarceration brings to a family. And I know the disproportionate impact that cash bail has on Black Americans."
According to The Bail Project, cash bail is "one of the key drivers of mass incarceration and structural racism in the U.S. criminal legal system."
Lil Nas X also penned an open letter to his younger self ahead of the release of 'Industry Baby", writing "i need you to keep going."

"i know sometimes you feel like it’s all downhill from here. i know your sexuality has made you feel like an outcast amongst your peers. i know going from having the biggest song in the world to being trapped in your apartment is weighing heavy on you."
Lil Nas X last month released a Marvel-style blockbuster trailer for his debut album Montero, but as of yet no release date has been announced.
