Canadian singer-songwriter DeMarco performs Judy Garland's classic Christmas track next to a giant inflatable Santa Claus.
Mac DeMarco has shared his nearly annual Christmas song, covering 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' this year alongside a giant Santa Claus in an accompanying video.
“I hope you have a nice holiday season,” DeMarco wrote in the description. “Until next time, Mac.”
The festive staple has been performed over the years by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and, more recently, Phoebe Bridgers. Ireland's own Graham Mitchell and Amy Naessens also released their version of the song this morning, which you can watch here.
DeMarco began his festive tradition in 2015 with a cover of 'White Christmas', before covering Paul McCartney’s 'Wonderful Christmas Time' in 2017. The next year, he played 'The Christmas Song,' and 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town' in 2019.
Mac DeMarco released his most recent album - Here Comes the Cowboy - in 2019, offering new demos from the work this year,

DeMarco’s last official release arrived back in October with his Myd collaboration ‘Moving Men’.
The song is set to appear on the French dance producer’s forthcoming debut album Born A Loser, due out in early 2021. Mac also appeared in the Neighbourhood's video for 'Stargazing' last week.
