The single is the second release off Ronson’s upcoming album of the same name
Following the hugely popular collaboration with Miley Cyrus on ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ in November of last year, Mark Ronson has teamed up with Lykke Li for this effortlessly groovy hit.
The catchy single is perfectly translated into visuals, capturing the dream-like sense of longing often expressed in ‘70s cinematography. Throughout the hazy video Li embodies a love-struck fan, lusting over photos of Ronson and fantasising about joining him on stage. She floats around the set in delicate feathered robe, dancing around in a ginger wig, hankering after the musician. All 3 minutes and 40 seconds of this video are drenched with intoxicating desire, culminating in Li imagining herself as Ronson’s very own leg-humping backing dancer.
The single is the title track from Ronson’s forthcoming album, set for release on June 21. Other collaborators set to appear across the album include Camila Cabello, Alicia Keys and King Princess (to name a few), so it’s safe to say it will follow through on the promise of being jam-packed with ‘sad bangers’.
