An official music video for David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars track 'Starman' has been uploaded to Youtube, nearly 50 years after the song was first released.
Shot by revered photographer and long-term Bowie collaborator Mick Rock between 1972 and 1973, clips include moments from Bowie's Ziggy Stardust tour across the UK.
"Mick was extremely proud of his collaborations with David Bowie and was hopeful that more of his never before seen film work would see the light of day," read a post on Rock's Facebook back in June, which contained a short snippet of the footage.
"When we uncovered this previously unreleased footage shot during the Ziggy Stardust Tour, we knew that we could bring his dream to life."

Rock, who died in 2021, is known for capturing some of the world's biggest rockstars, including the likes of Queen, Iggy Pop and Ozzy Osbourne. He worked as David Bowie's official photographer before the English musician's passing in January 2016.
The two had a symbiotic relationship as creative partners, with Rock publishing The Rise of David Bowie 1972 - 1973 in 2015 - a collage of portraits of the artist during his Ziggy era.
