In January 2016, the animated animal film will release a third instalment to its ever popular series, Kung Fu Panda.
The former two films featured the large cartoon panda bear who is aspiring to be a kung fu master.
In the third feature, panda Po will reunite with his biological father, who will take him to a secret sanctuary where other panda bears live. To Po's surprise, he does not fit in there and meets a female panda named Mei Mei, who's hand he was promised to in marriage at a very young age. To make matters even worse, an evil spirit has plagued China and is attempting to take away all the kung fu masters' powers. In response, Po must train the colony of kind-hearted panda bears to be able to fight with real kung fu abilities.
The film will star famous actors, including Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, James Hong, Bryan Cranston, Kate Hudson and J. K. Simmons.
It is scheduled to hit Irish cinemas March 18, 2016.
