A new film will hit Irish cinemas on November 27 starring Tom Hanks and Eve Hewson.
Bridge of Spies will be directed by the iconic Steven Spielberg, and will be set during the time of the Cold War. In the film, Hanks will play the real life personality of James B. Donovan, a lawyer who was dragged into the conflict by the CIA to represent a Soviet spy in court. Hewson, who plays Hank's wife in the film, is opposed to his enlistment especially because she believes that society will think negative of her and her family.
In addition to Hanks and Hewson, Bridge of Spies will star Amy Ryan, Alan Alda, Billy Magnussen, Michael Simon Hall, Mark Rylance and Edward James Hyland.
