Sam Smith is back with his first release of 2019, which features former Fifth Harmony singer Normani.
Sam Smith and Normani unveiled the video for their hit single, 'Dancing With A Stranger' today. The video was shot in London and directed by Vaughan Arnell, who has previously worked with the likes of James Blunt and George Michael.
'Dancing With A Stranger' has already racked up over 80 million cumulative streams worldwide following its relatively recent release. The single comes as the first feel for Smith's material for 2019, following his huge summer hit with Calvin Harris for 'Promises'.
Smith will perform with Harris on February 20 at the BRIT Awards, which will be live streamed on YouTube. Already a three-time BRIT winner, Smith is nominated in the British Male Solo Artist category this year. He has won four Grammy Awards, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, three Billboard Music Awards, a BET Award and six MOBO Awards, among others. Smith is definitely on his way to beoming an EGOT.
Normani features on the track, who you may recognise from her former girl group Fifth Harmony. Now the singer is breaking out on her own, with a debut solo single with Khalid ('Love Lies') already under her belt.

Normani has also gone on to release a number of new tracks including two songs with Calvin Harris and her recent single, 'Waves' ft. 6LACK. She has recently collaborated with Quavo as well as, and is currently working on her debut solo album. This March will she will join Ariana Grande on the North American leg of the Sweetener world tour.
