As part of our nightly series celebrating the 25th anniversary of Oasis' classic album, Nile St James performs 'Champagne Supernova'.
Our celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Oasis' era-defining album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? come to a close tonight – with a special performance from Nile St James, covering 'Champagne Supernova'.
The final track on (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, 'Champagne Supernova' features Paul Weller as a guest guitarist and backing vocalist.
"I remember sitting in the back of somebody's tour bus, playing [Weller] the rough mixes," Noel Gallagher reflected in his recent 25th anniversary track-by-track of (What's The Story) Morning Glory. "He was like, 'I'm going to fucking play on that'. So he came down. He thought he was going to play on 'Morning Glory', but 'Champagne Supernova' was crying out for a guitar solo, because mine was a shocker. So he played on that. And thank God he did."
Limerick singer-songwriter Nile St. James is rapidly establishing a reputation in Ireland as a captivating soul artist. Following the release of his debut single 'Fell For You' in 2017, he's currently working on his debut album.
