The film will be followed by the release of deluxe editions of the record on August 30.
Noel Gallagher gives a brand new thirty minute interview to John Robb to tell the story of Oasis’ iconic debut album Definitely Maybe.
The film comes ahead of the release of deluxe editions of the record, which will come out on August 30, and include previously unheard and abandoned versions from the original recording sessions, as well as outtakes from the definitive album sessions.
The interview was filmed at Sifters Records, where Noel and Liam Gallagher bought their albums long before Oasis formed, and which was immortalised in their single, 'Shakermaker'.

In this brand new insight, Noel discusses the difficult recording processes that led to the finished article of Definitely Maybe, and reflects on the band’s rise to fame through to their appeal today. Of Oasis’ enduring legacy, Noel summarises: “it was a band made by the people”.
The original record marked a critical moment in British youth culture, going on to become the fastest selling debut album of all time in the UK. The album is BPI certified 8 times platinum in the UK, selling over 6.1 million copies globally and the second Official Most Streamed Album of the 90s in the UK, beaten only by its successor (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?
The new edition, set for release next week, includes an unreleased demo version of ‘Sad Song’. Originally put out as a bonus track on the LP, this alternative version features Liam Gallagher’s vocals.
