24-year-old Carlow actor and rising musician Slaney has released her brand new single, 'Chameleon', featuring '80s-inspired pop sound and a colourful video.

Hailing from a highly musical background, her father Niall Power had an amazing career drumming for Bob Geldof, Westlife and many more.

Slaney began writing with songwriter/producer Michael Hopkins back in 2017 and the pair have continued to make music together ever since. Recording everything from their home studio in Kildare, 'Chameleon' is the latest pop project from the duo.

Slaney recently appeared in last year’s Sally Rooney hit BBC Three/Hulu adaptation Normal People as Sophie. The multi-talented artist will also be appearing in Isaac Asimov's sci-fi Foundation, airing on Apple TV later this year.

Slaney has a big 2021 ahead of her, with plans to release a new song every month of the year. The electro-pop singer's most recent track 'Fairytale Moonlight' followed on from 2020 efforts 'By Your Side' and 'Shy Away' after her 2018 debut 'Recharge My Soul'.
