Ahead of its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this evening, the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated new David Bowie documentary film, Moonage Daydream, has been released.
The feature-length film was directed by Brett Morgen, who previously directed the acclaimed documentary Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck.
According to Neon, the film's U.S. distributors, Moonage Daydream features "never-before-seen footage" and was "five years in the making." It's been acquired for international distribution by Universal Pictures Content Group.
In the teaser trailer, Moonage Daydream is described as an "immersive cinematic experience."
"All people, no matter who they are, all wish they'd appreciated life more," Bowie is heard saying in the trailer. "It's what you do in life that's important, not how much time you have – or what you wished you'd done."
