Paramore's lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro are set to take to the stage at Dublin's 3Arena on April 13th, 2023 as part of their upcoming tour in support of their 2023 album This Is Why.
American rock band Paramore have returned with the second offering from their forthcoming album This Is Why. The trio shared a captivating music video for their new single 'The News', yesterday - watch below.
Directed by Mike Kluge and Matthew DeLisi, the visually striking video shows lead vocalist Hayley Williams cross paths with her possessed alter ego.
"Every second our collective heart breaks/ All together every single head shakes/ Shut your eyes but it won’t go away/ Turn on/ Turn off/ The news," she sings.

In a press release, Williams revealed what inspired the powerful track.
"'The News' is one of those songs that came together pretty quickly and felt exciting from the start," she said. "It feels like a happy medium between classic Paramore angst and bringing in some influences we’ve always had but never exploited.
"Watching Zac [Farro] track drums for this one was one of my favorite memories from the studio.
"Lyrically, it probably explains itself. The 24-hour news cycle is just impossible to comprehend. And I feel a pang of guilt when I unplug to protect my headspace. The common reaction, or non-reaction, seems to be dissociation. Not one of us is innocent of that and who could blame us?", she added.
This Is Why is set for release via Atlantic Records on Febrary 10th, 2023. Paramore's sixth studio album follows 2017's After Laughter and Williams' two solo albums, 2020's Petals for Armor and 2021's Flowers for Vases / Descansos.
The band will play an album release show at Nashville's historic Grand Ole Opry on February 6th, 2023, ahead of their first tour since 2018, with a Dublin 3Arena date announced on April 13th, 2023.
Paramore will also take to the stage in Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Birmingham, as well as in cities across the US and South America.
