Take a look at the new video from the Limerick singer-songwriter below.
Following a string of acclaimed releases, including 2019's Through a Forest EP, Paul Dunworth is back with a powerful live video for 'To Let Go', recorded at Glenquin Castle in Co. Limerick.
Written in tribute to his father, who passed away in July 2019, the video for 'To Let Go' has been released in support of the Irish Cancer Society.
"My dad was a deeply caring person who loved his family and friends," Paul says. "He also had love for many animals and was a man of integrity and generous spirit. He passed away last July 12th after a short battle with cancer. During his last 2 weeks at home, the night nurses comforted my Dad enormously, and their kindness and compassion were invaluable to us as a family.
"During this difficult period, I wrote a piece of music about my dad's character and what I was feeling," he continues. "Music for me can be the ultimate meditation and has helped me through many life situations. I recorded a music video of the song at Glenquin Castle and I will release it on the anniversary of Dad's passing to remember him and express the deep love and pride I will always have for him and the loss I will forever feel.
