Take a look at Míchéal Keating's video for the track below.
Following the release of Post Punk Podge & The Technohippies' debut album, Euphoric Recall, back in May, the Limerick act have returned with a new video for one of the project's stand-out tracks, 'Gentrification Nation'.
Taking aim at the building of "corporate temples" and the destruction of venues, the hard-hitting track declares gentrification to be "the death of the working class."
Throughout Euphoric Recall, Podge addresses some of the most pressing social and political issues currently facing Ireland – as well as the ghosts of the past that continue to haunt our present – with a combination of cutting commentary and irresistibly dark and defiant humour.
At the end of February, Post Punk Podge & The Technohippies revealed that they'll have new songs out in the coming months, and they plan to start recording a new album during the summer.
Míchéal Keating, the producer of Euphoric Recall, is also the mastermind behind the new video – with additional filming by Steve Savage.
