Dublin indie-pop singer Róisín O has released a summery new video for her recent single, '2023'.
Like many of us right now, the Kimmage-based artist hopes for better days ahead in the tune's lyrics.
Directed by Andrew Ascough, the video features a couple going through the trials and tribulations of young love at a beach.
Róisín says that the sunny feeling of the new single was by design, commenting that the track's for "when the summer is stretching out in front of us and we can imagine being with pals again in a garden, or a field, or a beer garden somewhere."
"That’s when I imagine 2023 will come on. And everyone will bop."
'2023' offers a further taste of what to expect from her upcoming EP, following January's 'Hearts and Bones', which premiered on hotpress.com.

Róisín was also part of the Irish Women in Harmony collective last year. The group raised funds for Safe Ireland with their cover of 'Dreams' by The Cranberries.
