The Brighton duo gave the song a new rocked up edge, completed by a trio of backing singers.
Brighton rock duo Royal Bloods have covered Hozier's 'Eat Your Young' on BBC Radio One Live Lounge.
The track is from the Irish artist’s 2023 LP, Unreal Unearth, which earned the musician his first UK Number One LP.
Royal Blood were joined by a trio of backing singers to complement the cover. The performance also saw them add a string of electric chords courtesy of frontman and bassist Mike Kerr. Drummer Ben Thatcher gave a further energetic fringe to the cover with a deep repetitive beat throughout the performance.
The band have previously covered tracks such as The Knack's 'My Sharona' and The Police's 'Roxanne' in the Live Lounge.
They recently wrapped up their 10th anniversary tour earlier this month and are set to embark on a string of European gigs throughout the summer.

The rock duo released their latest album Back To The Water Below last year; speaking to Hot Press about the album, frontman Kerr said,
"It was probably the most fun I've ever had making a record, but it's never easy. In terms of the creative space of writing songs, 95 per cent of it is just feeling very uncomfortable, insecure and defeated, with nothing happening, and only fleeting moments of glory."
