Aaron Corcoran's new track is his first release on Faction Records.
On his first single of the year, Skinner (real name Aaron Corcoran) has shared a new piece called 'The Slump'.
It's also the Dublin based artists' first release on the Irish label, Faction Records, the home of some records by James Vincent Morrow, All Tvvins and Sorcha Richardson.
The tune comes with a green screen indebted video made by Conor's Creations, which features at times random images behind Skinner as well as other cool effects which match the punchy song.
"The song channels a feeling of nothingness and attempts to see the humour in it," Aaron says of the track.
"Everyone goes through periods where every day feels like a slap in the face so I wrote this weird disco song to distract myself from the monotony of it all. I was trying to escape everything and make something fun, something you could dance to."

As well as a number of shows supporting Silverbacks around the country, Skinner has a headline date at The Workman's Club on May 20, with tickets available here.
