WATCH: The Foo Fighters have released a new song and video

The Foo Fighters surprise released an incredible new song and music video last night, their first new music since 2015's Saint Cecilia EP.

'Run' is a monolithic rock song in the finest Foo Fighter tradition, and is sure to be heard everywhere this summer.

The Dave Grohl directed video is a time-traveling mind-warp, which will make you laugh and pump you up within seconds of each other.

The band are kicking off their month long European tour in two weeks, starting in Iceland , and will then be travelling to Japan and Mexico
