Los Angeles-based trio The Secret Things are back – with a new single 'Selfie', released alongside a thought-provoking music video.
The powerful, politically-charged track was written by the group's vocalist, guitarist and keyboard player Cynthia Catania, and Beth Thornley. Catania also produced 'Selfie', and mixed it alongside Doug Heffernan. She's joined in The Secret Things by Dan Nelles on drums and Steve Giles on bass and back vocals.
In addition to her work with The Secret Things, Cyntha Catania has also found success as a solo artist, and as a member of Saucy Monky, which she co-fronted with talented Irish songwriter Annmarie Cullen. Following a string of solo singles in 2020 – including 'Suitcase', which premiered on hotpress.com – Catania released her latest single 'Last Beer', earlier this year.
