The Dublin band released their new single last Friday, with a deeply emotive follow-up video getting its release today.
'When We Go Out' is the powerful new music video from Irish band VINCI, which features Irish actor Aidan Gillen. Backed by an anthemic rock track, the video brings attention to the homeless crisis, an issue close to the band's heart.
VINCI met Gillen when the actor was honoured earlier this year at the US-Ireland Alliance’s annual Oscar Wilde Awards at J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot in Santa Monica. The Irish also performed at the event.
While in LA, they noticed that the serious homeless crisis there shared many similarities with the crisis in Dublin and they wanted to shed more light, not only on the crisis, but on perceptions of the homeless.
There are now 15 international organisations supporting the video, including Aware (Ireland), Focus Ireland, Shelter (UK) and Everyone In LA (US).

US-Ireland Alliance president Trina Vargo said, “It has long been the case that the Oscar Wilde Awards have served to forge new creative relationships. For obvious reasons, we’re particularly proud of this one. We hope others will share this video and help bring more attention to this important issue.”
