Walshy's psychedelic new video was created by animator Cillian Green and filmmaker Cian Redmond.
Sleepover Club co-founder Luke Walsh is back with a colourful new visual for 'Just Walk Away', enlisting skilled animators and filmmakers for the job.
Cillian Green and Cian Redmond are responsible for the acid-induced, animated dreamscape that Walsh curates with Housewife on the tune. Swords resident Walshy has supported some of Ireland's most noteworthy rising talents as a result of his co-founded Dublin event, including Henry Earnest, April, Fehdah, Ahmed With Love, Curtisy, Kayleigh Noble to Uly and Wastefellow.
Readying the release of his genesis solo material, Luke is back with a clip that puts RTE kids show The Den's otherworldly, slightly bizarre nature to shame. Raised on the sounds of Bob Dylan, Beach House, Kanye and Wu Tang Clan, Walshy’s inspirations are a mixed bag.
His debut LP combines the nostalgia and bedroom aesthetics of teenage indie, dream-pop and hip-hop in his distinct colourful style. Collaboration is Luke's jam, having enlisted a different MC/singer from the UK and Ireland for each individual track on the album.

Pager The Sloth, eda, PCG Beats, domtavlor, Superego, Lowkick, Housewife, XO LU and Curtisy all bring their own distinct flavour to Walshy’s productions.
“I find the more people I work with from different backgrounds the more it stretches me into areas I wouldn’t be bothered with if it was left just up to myself," he says. “Everyone has their own area of expertise that they bring to the table and I prefer pushing back and letting that shine through when necessary.”
'Just Walk Away', featuring Housewife (Oisín Tarrant), is the next single to emerge from the project. Housewife released his debut album in May 2018 and blends his psychedelic pop inventiveness with Walshy’s haze-driven, dusty boom-bap.
The creative, trippy video marries hand-drawn doodles and live-acting as Walshy explores a forest of trippy wood-land creatures and ecosystems. The trio have created their own Bedknobs and Broomsticks-style world, where angels float overhead and caterpillars smoke blunts, and its residents are free to be as weird as they want.
It paves the way for an exciting, DIY-driven debut album from Walshy, who's ready to emerge fully from behind-the-scenes to take the spotlight.
Having previously been releasing music as London/Dublin duo Caleb & Walshy up until the start of 2022, Luke Walsh released his debut solo single - jazz-infused 'Glass Case' - in January that year.
