‘The Beach’ is taken from the band’s latest album, 'Blue Weekend'.
Wolf Alice shared the visuals for their latest single ‘The Beach’ from Blue Weekend on Monday, June 7th.
This is the fourth single taken from Blue Weekend, which was released on Friday, June 4th. The Jordan Hemingway-directed video features a dramatic performance from singer Ellie Rowsell, captured in her home and interspersed with images of nature and objects from an old house, before the video culminates in a flood that threatens to drown Roswell.
The band are set to release a short film in London on the 10th of June to follow up the release of Blue Weekend. They will also tour the UK and Ireland in 2022, with the band playing the Olympia on the 24th and 25th of January.
The band announced the tour on Facebook and wrote, “i can’t wait to play these new songs live they are gonna sound so gooooood. joff’s pedal board literally sounds like an orchestra at the moment and you have no idea how sweet theo’s falsetto is rn. this message is gonna be really embarrassing if no one turns up to these shows so please buy a ticket i know it seems far away right now but it will be worth it promise.”
