WATCH: Wyvern Lingo return with new single and video, 'Don't Say It'
The Wicklow trio return with news of a sophomore album and a stunning new video.
Since their 2018 Choice Music Prize nominated self-titled album, Wyvern Lingo have been relatively quiet. Today, however, they're back (and better than ever) with a brand new single called 'Don't Say It'.
The infectious, funk-tinged single marks the Bray band's first release in over two years. It also marks the first single from their hotly-anticipated forthcoming album, due out later this year.
According to the band, the album "deals with a lot of personal change and growth. It’s been grounding for the three of us as friends to be going through that together, and we’re really excited to be finally sharing new tunes about this time in our lives.”
The trio decided to move together to Germany in 2020, but were forced to return to Ireland early in their tenure due to the Coronavirus.
"'Don't Say It' is about an inevitable and reluctant end," the band says, "where the reasons to stay are deeply rooted, but the reasons to leave are becoming harder to deny.”
