Their upcoming album is available to pre-order now.
With their forthcoming album Impostors set for release this Friday 12th October on heavyweight vinyl, CD and streaming on Irish Independent label Delphi, Dublin two-piece We Cut Corners have dropped a video for their second single off the record in 'Original Sin'.
The previous track taken from the album, ‘Laughing Maniacally’, has received extensive radio airplay in Ireland, and play on BBC Intro-ducing on Radio 1 in the UK, as well as being featured on the New Music Friday UK playlist on Spotify.
Comprised of guitarist-vocalist John Duignan and drummer-vocalist Conall Ó Breachain have carved out a sound that ranges "from angular pop and garage rock, to wistful indie-folk, consistently coupled with their unique lyrical deftness". Their eclectic but always powerful songs have always tended to provide a tour de force from start to finish, with all three of their previous albums receiving nominations for the Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year and one imagines Impostors should be no different.
In support of the release of the record, We Cut Corners have also confirmed dates in Dublin (Whelan's, October 13th), Galway (Spiegeltent, October 19th), Cork (Cyprus Avenue, October 20th), Dundalk (The Spirit Store, October 28th) and London (The Monarch, November 2nd). They'll also perform live tomorrow in-store at Tower Records on Dawson Street to celebrate the album's release.

Directed by Adam O'Regan, the video for 'Original Sin' is shot in period-drama style, fittingly capturing the destruction and maddening aspects of 'impostor syndrome', the dark aspects of which are explored in the song itself. You can check out the video via the link below:
